i want to design my own wedding invitations. anyone know of a good site where i can get some tips?

- I suggest going to a craft store or even Wal Mart & picking up blank invites. Even office supply stores like Staples have them. You get everything you need in the package & you can use your computer to select the layout & font. It's usually easier to pick your layout & such if you have an idea of you paper.
- Great idea....find your envelopes first...then customize invites to size!

- Get your card from clinton cards. You can get nice patterns in a pouch. Then type in printmaster in your search engine.
- I would go to a store and look at their invitations and get ideas first. It's hard to tell how they put together some of the invitations online. Find one you like, and see how you can copy it. Also when you're there, find one that you like the wording. Copy it down, then you won't have to try and come up with the wording on your own. Good luck!

Very good site. They will even print them for you. Or, you can go to a traditional printer and design your invites. They will be expensive. If that doesn't float your boat (or your budget), order some high quality card stock and embellishments and let your imagination take over! - google custom wedding invites or find a good graphic artist
- Hi, I am getting married this year and i was thinking of designing my own but the internet ones are very expensive and are a fortune to waste if you dont like the design in the end. The best thing to do is go and see someone who makes cards, then ask them if they can design them for you. They will have samples of there own and maybe if you ask they will make one from scratch for you. I would recommend doing it from an internet website.

and there's 10%off at the moment and there delivered the next day I'm really pleased with mine - We made our own DVD invites 5 years ago and people are still talking about it.
