Last night we eloped and we are sending out our wedding announcements. Is it wrong to put our Christmas cards in the envelopes with the wedding announcements?

It would be better to send the Christmas card separately from the announcement. However, if you don`t want to send out two sets of cards to everyone you know- you could mix it up on the wedding announcements. Something along the lines of, "We`re married and Have a Merry Christmas".

- As long as the announcement is separate from the card then you can do it. The xmas card needs to stand alone on the persons mantel and the announcement in a memory book. They should not go together in one thing but may go together in one envelope. Old school etiquette would dictate they each be mailed separate but today's recession allows you to mail them together.33% 1 Vote
- humm I was first going to answer 'yes' it was tacky.. but now after thinking on it, if you eloped, and it is close to Christmas then no I think it is okay. You could make that a part of your Christmas card and wishes.0% 0 Votes
