Where/How can I get or make custom party invitations with a photo on them?

Ok, so i am hosting a party with my best friend(its a huge party, our whole grade is invited and its a dance for like 3 or 4 hours at a rented location, so its a real party). We want the invitations to be cute customized ones with a photo of us because we aren't asking for gifts, but donations for a charity that we will give the money to. Is there anywhere we can get some with a picture on it, but its not super expensive. We have seen packets of 50 for $80 which is too much. Is there pretty or funky/cute paper we can buy to make them ourselves? thanks for any help!
